Case Results

The attorney has handled many felonies and misdemeanors.  Below are some of the results.

 Felonies

 Assault;  Grave Bodily Injury;  False Imprisonment:  Client found not guilty by a jury. 

 Assault; Grave Bodily Injury:  Client pleaded guilty to lesser charge of the misdemeanor of disturbing the peace.  Client received one year probation and no fines. 

 Forgery:  Client pleaded guilty and received three years probation and no fines.

 Probation violation:  Client had left the state while on felony probation and a warrant was outstanding for her arrest. Attorney recalled the warrant and obtained dismissal without client’s presence in court.  

Possession:  Client also never completed PC1000 and was also arrested for another felony in another state.  Attorney recalled the warrant and obtained dismissal for time served in other state.

 Brandishing a weapon:  Client received one year probation and no fines. 

 Misdemeanors

 Driving under the influence; Hit and run with property damage: Unsafe turn or lane change; Failure to provide proof of financial responsibility; Unsafe speed for prevailing conditions.  Attorney was able to get all charges dismissed except for driving under the influence, for which the client was found guilty by a jury.  No jail time.  Client received one year probation and no fines. 

 Assault; Battery:  Attorney obtained dismissal of assault charge.  Client was found guilty by a jury of battery.  Client received one year probation and no fines.

 Domestic violence:  Attorney obtained a 6 month continuance and then obtained a dismissal of all charges. 

 Assault; Battery:  Attorney obtained a 6 month continuance and then obtained a dismissal of all charges. 

 DUI (x 3):  Client had been arrested three times in one year for driving under the influence and the fled the state for five years.  Client served only 60 days in jail. 

 Assault; Battery:  Not guilty verdict after jury trial.  District attorney re-filed the case and then reduced the charge to infraction of disturbing the peace. 

 Child endangerment:  Six months probation. 

 DUI:  Client absconded from the state for four years after DUI charge.  Attorney recalled the warrant and obtained full dismissal.
